GPN Recruitment are working with a well-established firm in West
London who are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join
them. The firm works with a diverse portfolio of clients,
providing a range of accountancy, audit and taxation services.

This is a varied role with a primary focus on preparing statutory
accounts, alongside management accounts and reviewing bookkeeping
work. There is also flexibility to take on a greater proportion
of management accounts depending on your experience and
interests.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing statutory year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of
clients.
* Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
* Reviewing bookkeeping work completed by junior team members and
bookkeepers.
* Ensuring accounts are prepared accurately and within agreed
deadlines.
* Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve
queries.
* Supporting clients with general accounting and financial
reporting queries.
* Assisting with the development and mentoring of more junior
members of the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice in
an Accounts Senior or similar role.
* Strong experience preparing statutory accounts for a range of
clients.
* Experience preparing management accounts.
* Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and relevant
accounting principles.
* Experience reviewing bookkeeping work.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the
ability to manage deadlines and client relationships.
* Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial but is not essential.
