Who we’re looking for
We believe in hiring people with the right core competencies and motivation, rather than specific technical experience. That’s why, when it comes to our apprenticeship programmes, we welcome applicants from a range of academic subject backgrounds.
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who have a real passion to add value in a global business.
To be successful in this role you don’t need to have everything figured out from day one, but you do need to be willing to learn, take on new challenges and keep going when things don’t go to plan. You’ll enjoy working with others, while also being able to take ownership of your own work. Being organised, paying attention to detail and communicating clearly will also help you succeed.
Requirements
To apply, you must be aged 18 or over by the start of the programme in September 2027.
If you’re currently studying A-levels or completing further education, you must be due to complete your qualification/s in 2027 (we’re unable to progress applications for students who will be part way through their studies when the programme starts).
You’ll also need to have:
- Achieved or be predicted at least 120 UCAS points, to include one STEM A level or equivalent at minimum grade C. Relevant subjects include Maths, Computer Science, Physics, IT, Software Engineering and Economics
- Achieved GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, or equivalent
Qualifications should be checked to ensure the requisite points are met Check your UCAS Tariff points
This is particularly important if you have qualifications other than A levels. Please ensure you provide the full name of the qualification, subjects studied and grades achieved or predicted. This will help us check your qualifications against the UCAS Tariff and understand their equivalence to our entry requirements.
We can only progress applications where sufficient information has been provided to confirm that the Minimum Entry Level Requirements are met. Where the required information has not been provided and we are therefore unable to confirm eligibility, the application will not be progressed and may be withdrawn from the recruitment process.
As this is an apprenticeship, there are some eligibility requirements you’ll need to meet:
- Right to live and work: You must have the appropriate right to live and work in the UK for the apprenticeship.
- Residency: You must meet the UK Government’s apprenticeship funding residency rules. These depend on your individual circumstances, including where you have lived and your immigration or residency status.
- Previous learning: Having other qualifications does not automatically stop you from applying. However, your previous qualifications, skills and experience will be considered to make sure the apprenticeship provides you with significant new learning.
- Other funded training: If you are already completing another apprenticeship or government-funded programme, this may affect your eligibility and will need to be checked.
This bp programme is designed for people who have not completed a univ
