JasperRose are working with a global lifestyle fashion retailer to recruit a Finance Business Partner into their EMEA Finance team at their London head office.

This is a varied, commercially focused role. You’ll be the finance partner for the brand cost base. You’ll own month end for these lines, and you’ll work with budget holders to challenge spend, support new initiatives and build a profit-focused mindset across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll also work closely with the group finance team on month end timelines and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month end actuals process for the brand lines: posting actuals, reviewing accruals and explaining variances to budget and last year
• Present the month end P&L to senior management and flag any areas of concern
• Partner with budget holders through regular spend reviews, and challenge where needed to keep brand costs within budget
• Provide ad hoc analysis to help budget holders understand their spend and find efficiencies
• Support the Marketing team in understanding the financial and non-financial metrics that measure the success of their initiatives
• Flag risks and opportunities in the cost base, and look at how the overall budget can be managed to fund new projects that weren’t in the budget
• Deliver the monthly forecast and annual budget for the brand lines
• Help manage the Head Office payroll budget, covering headcount tracking, variance analysis, the bi-annual pay review, bonus payouts, benchmarking and banding
• Keep improving how the team works, including using AI and automation to free up time for value-adding work

About You

• Qualified/ Finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a background in management accounting, cost control or business partnering
• Proven experience supporting cost management and working with non-finance stakeholders
• Confident communicator who builds rapport easily, including when delivering difficult messages
• Excited by a fast-paced, evolving fashion business
