Insurance Finance Analyst - #2187790

Our client is a well established insurance business operating in the London Market. It is looking for a technically minded Finance Analyst to join its finance team, playing a key part in building strong processes and reliable reporting.

You will own General Ledger inputs and cash flow reconciliations, making sure financial data moves accurately and efficiently through the business. You will drive improvements to the month-end process, using tools such as R, SQL and Excel macros to automate tasks and improve accuracy. Also building and maintaining forecasting models for trend analysis, and your insight will support the finance committee's decisions. You will contribute to reinsurance, statutory and financial reporting, liaise with brokers, and act as a key point of contact for auditors, providing clear, well-supported financial information throughout the audit.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an insurance finance environment, preferably within the London Market. Working knowledge of reinsurance and statutory reporting would be preferred, along with strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with SQL and/or R. You will be analytical, detail-focused and comfortable improving processes in a fast-moving, developing business.
