Are you an English Graduate with a strong academic background looking to gain valuable experience within a Secondary School?

A high-achieving Secondary School in Havering is looking to appoint an English Graduate Tutor with an ASAP start.

You will work closely with pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them improve their confidence, written ability and overall attainment across English Language and Literature.

This role would be perfect for an aspiring English Teacher or graduate looking to build substantial classroom experience.

THE ROLE

English Graduate Tutor
Supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils
1:1 and small-group tuition
GCSE English intervention
Supporting English Language and Literature
Essay writing and exam preparation
Working alongside experienced English Teachers
£110 - £120 per day
Full Time - Long-Term
ASAP start
Havering

PERSON SPECIFICATION

English Degree strongly preferred
Ideally a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree
Strong GCSE and A Level results
Excellent literacy skills
Confident communicating with young people
Strong subject knowledge
Aspiring English Teacher ideal
Reliable, ambitious and personable
