Lead Analytics Consultant
Location: Flexible UK Location / Remote

Required Background

• Proven experience delivering analytical products from concept through to business adoption
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to solve complex business problems using data and analytics
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and translating commercial challenges into analytical solutions
• Track record of owning end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, or insight products
• Experience mentoring colleagues and reviewing technical work
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities
• Experience working within governance, delivery, and software development lifecycle processes

• Strong Python development experience
• Experience building production-grade analytical products and applications
• Git version control
• Azure DevOps or equivalent repository, pipeline, and work management platforms
• Data visualisation and analytics product development
• Experience with analytical application frameworks such as:
  • Shiny for Python
  • Streamlit
  • Dash
• Reporting and analytical tooling including Quarto or similar
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
• Docker-based deployment
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling
• Code review, testing, debugging, and software quality best practices

• Experience with:
  • R
  • Shiny
  • Tidyverse
  • Scientific or quantitative computing environments
• Experience building reusable frameworks, libraries, and analytical platforms
• Consulting or professional services background
• Experience supporting and scaling analytical products after release
• Knowledge of modern software engineering and analytics delivery practices
• Experience working within distributed or remote teams

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of analytical products from concept to production
• Partner with senior stakeholders to turn business challenges into scalable analytics solutions
• Develop reusable frameworks, components, and development standards
• Build maintainable, configurable, and scalable analytical products
• Contribute to governance, delivery, and development processes
• Support and mentor colleagues through technical leadership and code reviews
• Drive delivery across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Promote best practices across analytics, product development, and delivery
