Start date: January 2027 or February 2027 start
An exciting opportunity for an exceptional childcare leader!

We are looking for an ambitious, confident and highly experienced Senior Nursery Manager to oversee a group of nursery settings across Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established senior childcare professional who thrives on leading teams, driving standards and making a genuine difference to the quality of early years education.

We are looking for a strong, decisive and hands-on leader who sets high expectations, leads by example and is not afraid to challenge poor performance. You will have the confidence to hold managers and staff accountable while creating a culture where professional development, excellent practice and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple nursery settings.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of childcare, education and safeguarding.
  • Lead, support and challenge Nursery Managers to achieve operational excellence.
  • Drive staff performance, accountability and professional development.
  • Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted and all regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor quality, standards and performance across all settings.
  • Ensure every nursery provides a safe, stimulating and high-quality learning environment.

About You

You will be a strong and credible childcare leader with significant experience in senior nursery management, ideally within a multi-site or regional role.

You will have:

  • A proven track record of successfully leading nursery teams and managers.
  • A confident, firm and fair approach to leadership and people management.
  • The ability to address underperformance and difficult staffing matters head-on.
  • Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations.
  • The confidence to make decisions, set boundaries and maintain high expectations.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £60,000-£70,000, dependent on experience.
  • 10% performance-related bonus.
  • A senior regional leadership opportunity.
  • The opportunity to influence and improve multiple nursery settings.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo. We want a leader who can make an impact, raise standards, develop people and ensure that every setting operates to the highest possible level.

If you are a strong, driven and inspirational childcare professional who combines firm leadership with a genuine commitment to staff development and outstanding early years practice, we would love to hear from you.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
