Salary up to £75,000 | 12-Month Contract | Potential for Longer-Term Opportunities

Drive Transformation. Influence Change. Deliver Results.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in business transformation, organisational restructuring and delivering complex change within financial services?

We're partnering with an ambitious, growing financial services organisation seeking an accomplished Project Manager to play a pivotal role in an exciting programme of strategic change, business transformation and organisational development. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, delivery-focused Project Manager who thrives on influencing senior stakeholders, navigating complex challenges and translating strategic objectives into measurable results.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll take ownership of business-critical transformation initiatives spanning organisational restructuring, business integration, operating model improvements, governance and operational change. You'll bring structure, direction and momentum to complex projects, coordinating stakeholders across multiple business functions and ensuring successful delivery from initial planning through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver complex business transformation, organisational restructuring and business change projects.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, budgets, timelines, milestones, risks and dependencies.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Technology.
  • Support business integration, operating model transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Establish effective project governance, steering committee reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify and resolve challenges, manage competing priorities and drive accountability across project teams.
  • Ensure strategic objectives translate into tangible, measurable business outcomes.

About You

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager who combines strong delivery expertise with commercial awareness, sound judgement and a proactive, hands-on approach. Experience within banking, lending, insurance or the wider financial services sector would be particularly advantageous.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Significant experience delivering complex business transformation, organisational change or restructuring projects.
  • A proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception through to implementation.
  • Experience in business restructuring, business integration, operating model change or strategic transformation.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, compliance and regulatory considerations.
  • The confidence to engage, influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent project planning, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, PMP or APM, would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

  • Up to £75,000 for the full 12-month contract.
  • Initial 12-month engagement with potential for longer-term opportunities.
  • Work directly with key decision-makers.
  • Play an integral role in an ambitious transformation programme expected to span several years.
