Video & Design Assistant – Degree Apprenticeship

Oasis Community Learning is looking for a creative Video & Design Assistant to join our National Communications & Marketing Team, combining a fully funded degree apprenticeship through university with real-world experience.

What will the role involve?

• Planning, organising, filming and editing high-quality videos from the initial idea through to the finished product.

• Working with our academies to capture stories that showcase our people, communities and impact.

• Creating engaging graphics, photography and visual content for our digital channels.

• Collaborating with colleagues and creative agency partners to strengthen the Oasis brand.

Who are we looking for?

Someone with practical video production experience, a creative eye and a genuine passion for developing a career in video and digital content. Experience could come from freelance work, personal projects, social media or previous employment. A portfolio demonstrating creative ability is essential; professional industry experience isn't.

Whether building on existing skills or changing career direction, this is an opportunity to turn creative ambition into a profession.

Initially you will be employed full time in the role, commencing the University Apprenticeship in September 2027.

Earn a degree while you work, develop your technical skills and build a portfolio of professional work alongside experienced communications colleagues.

Based in London, with travel to academies nationwide (2 – 3 academies per week)

Full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary: SCP 4 - £31668 - SCP 8 - £33513 plus Local Government Pension Scheme - (Please note, you will join on the entry point of SCP 4)
