We are partnering with a prestigious, fast-growing international luxury fragrance house to appoint an experienced Counter Manager within one of Central London's most iconic department stores.

The Role

As Counter Manager, you will take full ownership of the counter's performance, leading from the front to deliver outstanding commercial results while ensuring the highest standards of luxury service.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance, achieving and exceeding targets through a strong focus on conversion, productivity and commercial KPIs.

• Lead, inspire and develop a team of fragrance specialists, creating an engaging and high-performing environment.

• Deliver exceptional client experiences through personalised fragrance consultations, storytelling and expert product recommendations.

• Build and develop a loyal client base through effective clienteling, relationship management and repeat business.

• Work closely with department store management and key stakeholders to maximise commercial opportunities and brand visibility.

• Monitor performance, identify opportunities for growth and implement initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.

Operations & Brand Standards

• Oversee daily counter operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated client experience.

• Maintain excellent stock management, replenishment, tester availability and visual merchandising standards.

• Ensure the team demonstrates outstanding product knowledge and reflects the brand's luxury positioning.

• Support new fragrance launches, exclusive events and client engagement initiatives.

• Maintain exceptional operational standards within a fast-paced department store environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous leadership experience within luxury fragrance, beauty or premium retail, ideally as a Counter Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor.

• A strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve targets and drive team performance.

• Genuine passion for luxury fragrance, niche perfumery and experience-led selling.

• Excellent coaching and people development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Strong clienteling experience and the confidence to engage with a discerning international clientele.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
