• 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - £65,000 - £70,000 per annum Pro Rata
• City based, 3 days in the office
• ACA from Financial Services Audit with 2 years PQE

A new opportunity has landed for an ACA with Financial Services audit experience to join a Global Trading business that are in need of year end support, as well as some bolstering to the existing team at a time of a new overseas entity being set up.

This is a Fixed Term contract opportunity for 6 months although those preferring a day rate will also be considered.

This city of London based hybrid role requires you to attend the office 3 days a week & is offered between £65,000 - £70,000 per annum Pro Rata or £350-£400 p/day inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

Year end close:

• Own the year end close timetable, preparing and reviewing year end journals, including accruals, prepayments, deferred income, provisions and depreciation
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare draft statutory financial statements in line with IFRS for 5 global entities
• Prepare disclosure notes, supporting schedules and working papers
• Prepare consolidation and intercompany eliminations where applicable
• Involvement with some ad hoc Bookkeeping duties
• Use of MS Co-pilot or other A.I tools preferred

Person Specification:

• Qualified ACA with 1-2 years PQE either someone straight from Practice or with post audit experience within an FCA regulated business
• Proven experience delivering year end close and statutory accounts preparation, ideally in an interim or contract capacity
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK statutory reporting requirements
• Experience supporting external audits end to end
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations)
• Able to work independently, prioritise under tight deadlines and hit reporting milestones
• Clear communicator, comfortable working with finance colleagues, auditors and non-finance stakeholders
