Cedar is partnering with a real estate investment business to hire a Fund Finance Manager, on a 12 month fixed term contract for its growing European Fund Finance team in London.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll oversee investment and fund accounting across a portfolio of European real estate assets. The role combines financial reporting and consolidations with investor and lender reporting, cash and liquidity management, and hands-on support for acquisitions and disposals.

You'll work closely with portfolio and asset management teams, investor relations, local finance teams and external fund administrators. It's an opportunity to see the full investment lifecycle, from due diligence and deal completion through to ongoing fund reporting and distributions.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate quarterly consolidations across European fund structures and review reporting packs prepared by internal teams and external administrators.
  • Manage investor reporting deadlines and review capital calls, distributions and cash waterfalls.
  • Monitor cash and liquidity across fund structures and support lender reporting, including covenant calculations and compliance certificates.
  • Coordinate finance workstreams for acquisitions and disposals, including financial due diligence, acquisition accounting and deal closing.
  • Review fund and subsidiary financial statements, coordinate year-end audits and oversee inputs for statutory, tax and VAT filings.
  • Support budgeting and reforecasting for investment entities and advise finance teams on technical accounting matters.

What you'll bring

  • ACA or equivalent qualification, with at least four years' post-qualified experience in industry.
  • Real estate finance experience, including exposure to offshore investment structures.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation and audit, alongside experience in investor reporting and debt compliance.
  • Experience in acquisition accounting and financial due diligence.
  • The ability to explain complex financial information clearly and coordinate multiple reporting deadlines.

Experience in fund accounting, transaction management, Yardi or INREV reporting would be an advantage.
