Your new company
A multi-office presence and a business founded on corporate advisory, this firm are a leading mid-sized UK player. The Forensic function was initially established in investigations & regulatory but quickly developed out into Litigation/Disputes and Contentious Valuations over recent years. A well-established FTech function complements what they do, making this a full-suite and well-balanced Forensic practice, which is rare in the London market. The team has the feel of a "boutique within a full-service Advisory firm" yet is highly adept at collaborating with other service lines on projects and marketing/BD. The firm has a good supply of its own trainees so you have a proper "delivery pyramid" beneath you.

Your new role
This Manager role will be mainly centred around disputes, quantum, loss and contentious valuations. You'll be helping run a range of cases including damages/ quantum of claims, business valuations, loss of profits, W&I claims and post-transaction disputes, plus occasional arbitrations. As part of this you'll be drafting reports for expert review and supporting the preparation of expert/advisory reports. You'll also have input on case strategy, as well as budgeting and resourcing.
Just occasionally you might be asked to help on investigations/fraud, but this would be a minority element of your role.
What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA , CPA or equivalent
• Experience to at least strong AM level in forensics, with a disputes/quantum bias
• Valuations experience, whether contentious or non contentious
• Desire to work your way up the Disputes and Expert career hierarchy
