Job: School Admissions & Attendance Officer

Contract: Temporary, Full Time

Pay: £15 - £18 per hour + holiday pay & additional benefits

Location: Havering, Essex

Are you an experienced school administrator with strong attendance, admissions and data management experience? Adecco Romford & London East are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admissions & Attendance Officer to join a busy School office team.

This is a pivotal role responsible for managing pupil attendance, admissions processes and school data, ensuring records are maintained accurately and compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily pupil attendance using Bromcom
• Monitor attendance trends and follow up on absences and punctuality concerns
• Produce regular attendance reports for Senior Leadership and Governors
• Manage admissions, pupil starters, leavers and transfers
• Maintain accurate pupil records and data within Bromcom
• Collate, analyse and report attendance, admissions and demographic data

Essential Experience

• Previous experience working within a school office environment
• Experience using Bromcom (or a similar school Management Information System - Arbor, SIMS etc.)
• Experience managing attendance and/or admissions processes
• Strong data reporting and analysis skills
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Exceptional organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
