An international advisory firm is looking for a Dutch speaking Qualified Accountant on a short term contract.
Your new role

• Review technical accounting documents translated from Dutch into English, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Review full sets of statutory accounts, financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Ensure Dutch accounting terminology is appropriately represented in English.
• Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies or potentially misleading translations within financial documents.
• Review financial terminology, disclosures, notes to the accounts and supporting narrative.
• Work closely with translation and project teams to ensure documents are technically accurate and suitable for an English-speaking audience.
• Provide accounting expertise where direct translations do not appropriately reflect the intended financial meaning.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fluent or native-level Dutch and English language skills.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience reviewing financial statements.
• Experience working with Dutch accounts or financial reporting documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to review large and technically detailed documents accurately.
