SENIOR SOLUTION ARCHITECT, SOLUTIONS ARCHITECTURE, SECURITY CLEARANCE, PUBLIC SECTOR, SC, CTC, NPPV

My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking an experienced senior solution architect to work on a hybrid basis both from home and the London office.

The role of the Solution Architect includes but is not limited to:

• Create and lead the IT system integration processes to meet the client needs, including the creation of High-Level Solution/Technical Designs for new changes and projects.
• Evaluate product constraints and devise alternatives to reduce risks, whilst performing process re-engineering.
• Identify and analyse any impacts that technical changes may have on business proceedings.
• Conduct regular evaluations of the system architecture and collaborate with business and technical teams to improve designs.
• Supervise and motivate development teams to improve their efficiency and productivity.
• Follow best practice for solution design.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Architect
• At least 10+ years of previous experience working IT Projects and Programmes, with accountability/focus on technical design & development in the delivery of IT systems & integrations
• Strong (‘hands-on’) technical background hence having the ability to understand technology related delivery challenges, risks and issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to define problems and articulate desired outcomes clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrable knowledge of current and emerging technology trends and methodologies.

Due to the business-critical nature of this role, applicants must hold a valid SC, NPPV or CTC security clearance.
