Job Description

The Corporate Finance - Research Internship is available to those who have an interest in private markets and early stage investing. This 6 months program is designed to fully immerse you in the day-to-day activities of private markets investors and early-stage companies management teams.

The program includes creating indicators and identifying patterns or trends that can be conveyed to investors. You will create ad-hoc reports on a regular basis that will allow you to develop strong expertise in several technology verticals. You will also receive an orientation where you will learn about the organization’s culture and the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of APG.

Key Responsibilities

• You will raise awareness of Aluna Partners' services with investors, globally
• You will write technology-specific articles and reports
• You will create indicators and identify patterns that can support VCs’ investment strategy
• You will create content on a regular basis to attract new investors
• You will perform statistical analysis on macroeconomic and venture capital aggregate data
• You will monitor, track and regularly report the research & marketing division performance
• You will run a competitive landscape analysis for Aluna Partners
  
  

Requirements

• Must have an organised and well-structured mindset
• Must have a good understanding of corporate finance strategies and key financial metrics
• Must have experience in data analysis and managing large datasets
• Must be capable of collecting, processing and analysing macro data from the web
• Must be capable of effectively communicating ideas
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be in 6-12 months to graduation from an accredited university with a major in economics or finance background
• Should be intellectually curious, proactive and results-driven
• Should be capable of working independently
• Should have a genuine interest in the private markets
• Should be a self-starter
