• Create new and revise old manufacturing drawings.
• Ensuring all drawings created, modified, or scanned are checked approved and uploaded.
• Ensure all drawings are drawn to suitable standards and in accordance with BS8888.
• Maintain the current CAD system and drawing repository.
• Maintain technical product records, manuals, and description.
• Evaluate and interpret customer technical requests.
• Perform design changes to existing designs as and when required.
• Update drawings to the correct standard to ensure they are fit for current manufacturing processes.
• Liaise with customers in UK and overseas.
• To be the owner of Fluidrive technical related NCR’s
• Visit suppliers that manufacture, machine and cast major components to assist and support processes.

Fluidrive EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and design function.
• Mechanical engineering qualification to minimum HND level.
• Experience of AUTO-CAD / Siemens Nx and Team Centre.
• Knowledge of Engineering change and document control.
• Good understanding and application of BS 8888 technical product documentation and specification.
• Experience in power transmissions and rotating equipment.
