Cost Manager MRICS- CLIENT SIDE

London; with travel within the UK every fortnightly

Up to £70,000 per annum plus comprehensive benefits package including bonus and car allowance

What is the CLIENT SIDE role:

Are you interested in working for one of the UK’s well known residential/ hospitality developer and management companies? Pillar Partnership are currently partnered with this client to help them find a Project Manager to join their team and help deliver over £800 million worth of project pipeline across the UK.

They are in need of a well-rounded Cost Manager to come in and get stuck in straight away on a healthy pipeline of existing projects. You will be based in their London office two/ three days a week (plus travelling to sites when needed) working on a mix of projects across the living sector. You will be actively engaged with clients and involved in senior stakeholder meetings, so you must have experience and be confident in these situations. You have to be technically sound and confident to be running projects on your own, and comfortable to liaise with the external cost consultants/ contractors /suppliers to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Who are you:

The successful candidate will be involved in the whole lifecycle of schemes/ projects- so ideally you will have pre and post contract experience (which if you are MRICS you should have). You’ll be from a consultancy environment and wanting to move client side or already in a client-side role and will have private sector experience (big benefit if this is within the living sector). You will also be comfortable actively engaging with clients. As a person you will be a motivated, can do attitude person. You will have the support of senior people but must also be able to work autonomously and get stuck in. Essentially, they are looking for a safe pair of hands with relevant experience and super motivated.

Ideally you will have the following experience:

• Consultancy/ developer background 4/ 5 (ish) years’ experience))
• Experience delivering private sector projects- residential, hotel, commercial, fit out etc!
• Experience dealing with senior stakeholders/ being comfortable in a client-facing role
• Some client relationships/ contacts in this space would be a big benefit
• A motivated individual who is genuinely interested in progressing their career
• Technically sound; planning process, contract negotiation, delivering on sites
• MRICS
• Relevant University degree/ charterships
• Eligible to work in the UK

On offer for this role is a basic salary of up to £70,000 (depending on level of experience) per annum, plus a flexi benefits package (including bonus and car allowance). For further details please contact Imogen or one of the Property team in the London office.
