The Revenue Management Analyst has day-to-day responsibility for Pricing and Yield activities at iQ, and for managing the acquisition funnel for all "Direct Let" rooms in the portfolio. Responsible for ensuring that our rooms are sold for their optimal price and at the right time in the booking cycle, with the correct configuration and through the right channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing & Competitor Set Analysis
- Setting the initial prices and arranging room configurations on an annual basis
- Responsible for recommending and managing changes to room pricing during the leasing cycle
- Working with the Operations Teams to define the correct local competitor sets for each iQ asset
- Ensuring that we are appropriately priced both for the level of demand, and versus the local competition
- Yield & Reporting
- Maintain and distribute weekly reporting to the Board and Investors in a timely fashion
- Work with the BI team to suggest ways to develop and evolve our reporting capabilities
- Develop new ways of working with Operational and HQ stakeholders to find efficiencies and creative outcomes from daily business challenges
- Use data available from reservation channels to identify areas of opportunity for improvement in overall leasing performance (+ identify new/other data sources, with the BI team)
Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Highly numerate and comfortable working with large data sets
- Experienced user of Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written communication abilities
Science/Maths-based degree, or substantive and relevant numbers-focused experience in full-time employment
We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home / site location.
