• Monday to Friday: 7:15 am – 5:15 pm

• Alternate Saturdays: 7:30 am – 12:30 pm Salary: £30,000 per annum

A well-established builders’ merchant is seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5-tonne driver to support daily operations through the safe and timely delivery of building materials across London and surrounding areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent and efficient logistics support to customers and project sites.

Note: During the probation period, the role may involve working from the Willesden branch to support training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver building materials to customer locations within the M25 and occasionally beyond

• Assist with loading and unloading of goods

• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained

• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure punctual deliveries

• Unload goods safely at delivery destinations

• Collect customer signatures and issue invoices upon delivery

• Process card payments at point of delivery where required

• Maintain accurate delivery records

• Return undelivered goods to the appropriate branch

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

• Proven driving experience within London

• Strong understanding of road safety and practical driving skills

• Good communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitude

• Ability to manage basic paperwork and delivery documentation
