MEP Operations Manager - #1688529

An award-winning Main Contractor focused on delivering a variety of high-rise residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, both new build and refurbishment projects across London, is currently seeking a delivery-focused MEP Operations Manager in North-East London. The successful candidate can be Mechanically or Electrically biased but well-rounded in both disciplines. They must be delivery-focused and manage subcontractors to achieve a tight program. The project is a development featuring one and two-bedroom flats that will be housed in two towers, standing at 30 and 28 storeys and will run until 2026. MEP Operations Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor all mechanical & and electrical works trying to improve all required programme dates for mechanical works.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions and resource
• QA of all M&E works including snagging, de-snagging and benchmark sign off including updating relevant QA software platform
• Set out project milestones and ensure they are met
• Work collaboratively with the site administration team to ensure make subcontractors have up to date information on the project
• Monitor M&E site progress

MEP Operations Manager Candidate profile:

• A strong track record of managing the M&E package on Residential projects
• 5+ years in an MEP Operations Manager position
• Good knowledge of varied M&E construction techniques and their implementation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to organise
