6 month rolling contract, £1000-1200 per day, Outside IR35

Your Role as CTO

As CTO you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of the business. You’ll work directly with the CEO and co-founders to:

• Lead the development and implementation of their technology roadmap

• Oversee architecture, development, and infrastructure for their web platform and future mobile apps

• Ensure their systems are scalable, secure, and reliable as they grow

• Identify and integrate emerging technologies to enhance their offering and user experience

• Build, lead, and inspire a world-class engineering team

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software development and technology leadership

• Strong background in web-based platforms; mobile app experience is a plus

• Experience building products at scale, ideally in high-growth or startup environments

• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps (AWS preferred)

• A deep understanding of data security, privacy, and UK compliance (e.g. GDPR)

• Passion for using technology to solve real-world problems for millions of users

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A true builder’s mindset — hands-on, visionary, and ready to lead from the front

Bonus Points

• Experience in consumer-facing platforms, price comparison tools, or broadband/telecoms

• Familiarity with GraphQL, custom CMS development, or high-performance data platforms
