Estimator - #1689190

I am currently seeking a Estimator for work with a Multidiscipline UK Construction Contractor based in East London. This role is open to a contract or a permanent position for the right candidate.

This role would include but not be limited to the below

• Liaison with subcontractors to obtain site specific quotations
• Establishing new and building existing relationships with clients / contractors / suppliers
• Coordinate site visits with team members to understand project logistics / constraints
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss projects / tenders & negotiate contract sums
• Inputting cost data from the BIM model
• Validating unit rates and construction methodology with key sub-contractors and ensure this is built into budget.
• Offering VE options with tender
• Presentation of tenders for adjudication with senior management team
• Working and supporting the existing Estimator and the construction teams for fire Protection to finalize the construction methodology, temporary works requirements, preliminaries, staff costs and ensuring this is integrated into the overall estimate

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Experience as an Estimator or similar
• Experienced with passive fire protection
• Experience in using online take off systems
• Estimating, Quantity Surveying degree or similar
