Are you an experienced Contracts Administrator with a strong background in post-award contract management? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset? We’re looking for a driven individual to join our client's London-based procurement team to ensure the smooth administration of contracts and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement team and contract holders in managing post-award contract activities.
  • Attend handover, kick-off, and progress meetings, recording accurate minutes.
  • Monitor contract KPIs such as spend tracking and expiry dates.
  • Verify compliance documentation from contractors and identify any contractual irregularities.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Legal, Finance, HSE) and external contractors.
  • Assist in handling disputes, contractual changes, and claims.
  • Ensure complete and traceable contract documentation is maintained.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and process improvement initiatives.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration, ideally in the energy or engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of contractual terms & conditions, legal compliance, and HSE requirements.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English; Italian is a plus but not essential.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of procurement planning, bid evaluations, and pre-award activities.
  • Familiarity with volume discounts, liquidated damages, and contractor performance tracking.
