Are you an experienced Contracts Administrator with a strong background in post-award contract management? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset? We’re looking for a driven individual to join our client's London-based procurement team to ensure the smooth administration of contracts and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the procurement team and contract holders in managing post-award contract activities.
- Attend handover, kick-off, and progress meetings, recording accurate minutes.
- Monitor contract KPIs such as spend tracking and expiry dates.
- Verify compliance documentation from contractors and identify any contractual irregularities.
- Liaise with internal departments (Legal, Finance, HSE) and external contractors.
- Assist in handling disputes, contractual changes, and claims.
- Ensure complete and traceable contract documentation is maintained.
- Contribute to lessons learned and process improvement initiatives.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration, ideally in the energy or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of contractual terms & conditions, legal compliance, and HSE requirements.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus but not essential.
- Proactive and self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of procurement planning, bid evaluations, and pre-award activities.
- Familiarity with volume discounts, liquidated damages, and contractor performance tracking.
