Senior Flood Risk Consultant- Surbiton, London - #1702851

My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for a Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join a friendly and supportive team in Surbiton.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Management and Civil Engineering have experience spanning Hydrology, Flood Risk and Modelling.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience mentoring junior team members or preparing bids and tenders. You will be expected to work from the office 4 days a week.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Surbiton. You will be required to train and mentor staff, prepare bids and tenders and check/complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

You will be expected to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.

-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.

-Water Framework Directive Assessments.

-Water Quality Assessments.

-Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.

-Hydrological Assessments.

-Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.

-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

-Drainage Strategies.
