At Orion Smart Metering, we’re proud to work alongside some of the biggest names in the Gas and Energy industry. As we continue to grow and expand across the UK, we're looking for dynamic and passionate Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our team and help drive our success.

The Role

As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will:

• Install smart meters in domestic properties.
• Deliver an exceptional level of customer service.
• Work to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Manage your own stock and liaise with management to meet KPIs.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking engineers who have:

• A minimum of 24 months' Dual Fuel metering experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads independently.
• Basic IT literacy.
• A professional and reliable approach to work.

Pay & Package Options

Choose from 4 great pay packages, depending on your preferences and setup:

1. Salary Package

• £45,000 per annum
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

2. Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 1

• £231.56 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

3. Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 3

• £275 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Engineer supplies own van & fuel
• Tools & uniform provided

4. CIS Option

• £240 per day
• Engineer supplies own van, fuel, and tools
• Tools & uniform provided

Performance Bonus (All Packages)

• £50 per point for each point earned after reaching 6 points/day

Payment Details

• Weekly pay, 2 weeks in arrears
• Bonuses paid 1 month in arrears
• Day Rate options paid via approved Umbrella Company (PSL)
