Are you passionate about finding the right solutions? Do you want to work closely with senior management and have a meaningful impact on Global Markets and its strategy?

We are looking for someone who can:

  • synthesize multiple points of information, provide insights and make recommendations to leaders
  • source and analyse information / data and use it to create materials on financial performance, strategy and business cases
  • support strategic planning process and other performance updates through detailed analysis and understanding of our financials including revenues, costs and capital metrics
  • prepare the Head of Global Markets for the IB Management Forum and other senior level management forums or meetings with regulators
  • support projects that improve business or process efficiency and effectiveness

Your team
You’ll be working to support the Global Markets Chief of Staff team based out of London. The Chief of Staff's role is to support the Head of Global Markets in all aspects of organizing and running the business: Strategic planning and analysis, workforce planning, running the Management Forum meetings, ensuring the business head is prepared for IB Executive Forum sessions, regulatory and other key meetings, writing Townhall presentations, designing management onsites and working closely with the other Management Forum members.

Your expertise

  • experience of working in/with Global Markets and/or in a business/ financial management role in support of senior leaders
  • the ability to build relationships and become a trusted point of contact to provide guidance and support across all levels of seniority
  • numerate, with strong verbal and written communication (particularly PowerPoint) skills
  • proactive, pragmatic and a self-starter ready to solve problems
  • strong financial background and excellent attention to detail
  • comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • embrace a flexible work-day and able to juggle multiple deliverables and effectively prioritise
  • eager to learn about the business, our people and the environment we operate in
  • adaptable and able to challenge
