The opportunity
The Wholesale Banking and Capital Markets (WBCM) team brings together a deep knowledge of industry trends and strong execution experience to help our clients develop and execute their capital markets transformation agendas. We operate in a highly collaborative business environment, and our team culture, focused on personal growth, learning, and helping each other, is critical to our success.
As a Manager in our team, you will lead engagements to help clients at all levels of an organisation solve their most important business challenges. You'll help them define and execute change from front-to-back relating to a wide range of agendas, such as cost transformation, process re-engineering, risk and controls mapping, regulatory change, digital strategy, and organisational re-structuring.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading client delivery teams in designing, developing and executing/implementing strategic and operational initiatives for our clients. You will deliver large-scale projects assessing and mitigating engagement risks, driving conclusions, and reviewing the output produced by the team. You will also be responsible for supporting the Capital Markets practice in business development and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, enhancing our capabilities and services.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Capital Markets practice in business development and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, enhancing our capabilities and services.
To qualify for the role, you must have some or all of the following:
- Previous experience in financial services consulting or comparable experience driving transformation initiatives
- Strong track record in managing project delivery, with an ability to lead teams in the development and delivery of high-quality output against project objectives to tight deadlines
- Previous experience and expertise in leading or assisting in the transformation of relevant capital markets processes, such as:
- Client onboarding and KYC / counterparty review processes
- Front office optimisation and digitisation
- Trade capture, validation, and confirmation
- Settlement and clearing processes
- Transaction reporting
- We require individuals who have a deep understanding in settlement flows, and associated industry-wide pain points
- Specifically, we need people with deep post-trade experience, as we anticipate our clients will need to invest significantly in post trade optimization to be able to meet the new global settlement timeline.
- Previous experience relating to one or more of the following: front-office transformation, operating models, process-re-engineering, cost transformation regulatory change, risk and controls, operational resilience, regulatory change, organisational re-structuring, digital strategy, and/or tech-enabled transformation
- Knowledge of a range of financial products (e.g., derivatives, equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities) and industries (e.g., investment banking, broker-dealers, custody, fund administration, investment management)
- Structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a passion to learn
- Keen insights into inefficiencies across processes in the Capital Markets sector and ideas on how to improve organisational performance
- Demonstrated success in understanding clients' needs and developing service offerings to meet their needs, including providing advice on defining and designing business strategy, operations and other functional strategies
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fluid project environment with uncertainty and ambiguity
- Expertise in cultivating mid- to senior-level relationships with clients and the ability to interact with clients up to the C-suite level
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
