About The Role

You will be working within our Analytics team, cross functionally serving different areas of our growing travel business.

Data At Iglu

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and crucial function of the business, your day to day responsibilities will be to generate insight, ensure effective communication and adoption into the business processes.

Analysing data, identifying trends, forecasting and modelling to make recommendations to the business. This is a varied role, looking at all aspects of the business, and will require a good work ethic and an ability to work quickly and diligently. This is an opportunity to have a positive impact on the business by driving change and continuous improvement, and evaluating the impact of these changes.

Responsibilities

  • Interrogate and analyse data to establish market and product trends, find new opportunities, improve efficiency and build forecasts models, across the cruise sectors
  • Present findings & recommendations to the management team to support the running of the business, drive growth and efficiencies;
  • Work alongside the BI Team, to validate data and facilitate new data points and sources;
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure their reporting needs are being met, help identify new areas for analysis as required;
  • Create daily, weekly and ad-hoc reporting on performance, trends and opportunities;
  • Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings an to present to stakeholders when necessary;
  • Provide continued reporting and evaluation on the impact of changes made;

Key Skills

  • Proven project experience with SQL, experience with Python packages a plus
  • Proficiency with data visualisation software (Tableau preferred)
  • Business acumen, a passion in learning how businesses operate, which strategies are implemented and which industry trends buffet and boost the business.
  • Microsoft office/G Suite proficiency, especially with Excel
