About the Role

When problems arise for children, young people and their families, early support heads off the need for specialist intervention later. Whatever we do, our aim is to achieve better outcomes for everyone and develop strong resilience within families. This means taking a joined-up, whole-family focused approach across a range of universal and targeted services. We are supported in this by working with wider council services and alongside our partners, such as schools, health, police, voluntary sector and local communities. Haringey’s Early Help’s vision is that any Child or Young Person, in need of targeted Early Help services, will receive them in a timely and responsive way. We have expanded our Family Support Teams to create more capacity to ensure lower caseloads so that our staff can spend more time with Children and their families. This is an exciting time to be joining Haringey’s Early Help Service and we are looking for dynamic, high performing candidates, who keep children at the heart of their work.

About You

This is an exciting time to be joining Haringey’s Early Help Service and we are looking for dynamic, high performing candidates, who keep children at the heart of their work. You will need to demonstrate your ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within a community and to draw on the strengths of the team. Knowledge of different methods of family support and intervention and proven experience of the statutory functions of the local authority and where Early Help and Support sits is essential to the role.
