The Role: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to a Reception student with SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Building a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.

Implementing personalized learning plans to address the student's unique requirements.

Assisting the student in developing essential social and emotional skills.

Collaborating closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to monitor progress.

Promoting the pupil's self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being.

Qualifications and Skills: To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or experience.

A deep understanding of SEMH and effective support strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
