About the Role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? We're looking for a dedicated Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our Resident Services team within the Housing & Environment Directorate. This is your opportunity to help shape vibrant, safe, and inclusive neighbourhoods across Ealing.
You'll be at the heart of our housing service-supporting residents across a range of tenures, managing tenancies, resolving issues, and ensuring our neighbourhoods are places people are proud to call home.
What You'll Be Doing
- Full Tenancy Management responsibility of a housing patch of aprox. 500 properties.
- Delivering high-quality, customer-focused housing services.
- Proactively managing rent arrears and supporting income recovery.
- Conducting estate inspections, home visits, and resident engagement activities.
- Supporting vulnerable residents and safeguarding where necessary.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
- Leading projects and mentoring colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- A strong background in housing management and customer service.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence in working independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Office).
- Experience working with diverse communities.
- Knowledge of Housing Law (Essentials).
- Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management.
- Ability to lead resident engagement and partnership initiatives
