Preconstruction Manager - #1725079

Our client is one of the UK's leading privately owned infrastructure specialists and Main Contractors, delivering projects and frameworks across the UK.

Working on civil engineering water projects across the South East, this is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Preconstruction Manager or Project Manager, from an infrastructure background, with previous experience working on Civil Engineering projects within the Water sector.

This role can be based at either their Berkshire, Hertfordshire or London office.

Preconstruction Manager roles and responsibilities:

A full JD can be provided, but key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing the clients work scope and designs, identifying any design issues and risks, and providing design solutions.
• Arrange and manage pre-tender surveys and trial holes, and identify any potential early warnings.
• Work with preconstruction and delivery team to build up and create project programme.
• Responsible for identifying and organising any land permissions and consents required.
• Write and distribute subcontract services framework info pack for the projects, and assisting with putting the tender pack together.

Preconstruction Manager requirements:

• Previous experience in design and project delivery within the water sector is essential.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification and experience.
• Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, and Programme & Risk Management.
• Excellent communication, people, and team management skills.
• Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
