Job Title: LOLER Inspection Engineer - Airport Ground Support Equipment Job Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £55,000 Location: Heathrow / West London

Overview: We are currently recruiting for a qualified LOLER Inspection Engineer to join a leading provider of airport ground support equipment (GSE). Based at Heathrow Airport, this role involves working within a dedicated team of engineers, supporting the inspection, servicing, and certification of airside lifting and mechanical equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a regulated, safety-critical environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out LOLER inspections and statutory safety checks on GSE such as aircraft jacks, high lifts, container loaders, and towbars
• Conduct planned servicing, basic repairs, and fault diagnosis to maintain operational standards
• Ensure compliance with all PUWER, LOLER, and airside safety regulations
• Complete inspection documentation and service reports to a high standard
• Work closely with fellow engineers, airport operations staff, and internal support teams

Requirements:

• LOLER-qualified with proven experience inspecting lifting equipment
• Previous work with airport ground support equipment (GSE) or similar heavy plant preferred
• Strong awareness of compliance and safety standards in regulated environments
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence required
• Able to pass airside clearance checks (background and references)

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Flexible start and finish times to suit operational needs and travel
