About The Role
The Social Executive (Entertainment) will work across Digital Spy, best and Inside Soap to produce, publish and analyse social content on all social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll work with the brand and editorial teams to deliver on agreed social strategies, create high-quality content, help grow new audiences and accelerate digital revenues. Reporting on key metrics and insights will form part of the role.

About The Role

You’ll work with the brand and editorial teams to deliver on agreed social strategies, create high-quality content, help grow new audiences and accelerate digital revenues. Responsibilities
- Create engaging social content for Hearst’s Entertainment brands across all major social platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
- Publish and schedule social content for Hearst’s Entertainment brands across all major social platforms
- Use data and insight tools to feed into brand social strategies
- Deliver regular insights reports on brands and platforms
- Help create engaging video to drive audience engagement and increase watch time
- Suggest and deliver on new and innovative ways to grow new audiences
- To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values.
- You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time.
- Experience directly creating, posting and optimising content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Experience using platform-specific analytics dashboards, as well as other tools such as Dash Hudson, Google Analytics and TrueAnthem, to interpret data and build reports, is essential
- A passion for social media and the opportunities and challenges of its platforms essential
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential
- Experience working with social data and insights platforms e.g. Meta Business Suite, Dash Hudson, True Anthem essential
- A passion for entertainment, including showbiz, TV, movies and soaps highly desirable
- Experience using data to guide decision making highly desirable
- Experience using Google Analytics highly desirable
- Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects or other image/video editing software experience is desirable
