Job title: Storage Platform Engineer

Client: FinTech

Salary: £150,000-£250,000 + Bonus

Location: London / Hybrid

Skills: Storage, SAN, iSCSI, Fabric, Weka, Vast, Linux, Python

The role:

My client are seeking a Storage Platform Engineer to join their team.

You will predominantly work on highly complex Storage Systems across various vendors.

Automation via Python is a key part of the position, contributing alongside other Platform teams to the overall Platform Automation

Responsibilities:

Design, build and deploy a wide array of Storage systems
Managing huge petabyte scale Storage systems
Managing and monitoring Linux estate
Extensive project work

Experience required:

Strong experience working with Linux
Weka, Vast, NetApp, Dell, EMC and various other vendors
Experience working in Python for Platform Automation

Desirable skills:

Experience of working with either Chef or Ansible for configuration management
Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile practices
Observability – ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
Degree in relevant subject
