As the Domain Architect Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Enterprise Architecture processes and standards for the Corporate Application Domain and landscape. This includes actively participating in the Community of Excellence and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote best practices across the organisation.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will also take ownership of the group-wide solution approval process for Domain Architectural change and roadmap development and realisation. This involves preparing and presenting proposals to enterprise architecture review boards, securing approval for solutions that align with strategic objectives and architectural principles.
You will oversee domain-specific solution approvals by establishing and managing a local Enterprise domain architecture review board. This will include defining governance structures, evaluating proposed solutions, and ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide architectural standards.
The ideal candidate for the Enterprise and Corporate Application IT Domain Architect role will have extensive experience in designing and optimising IT applications across multiple business functions with a specific focus on Middle and Back Office landscapes.
With a deep understanding of Middle and Back Office IT systems, the candidate will ensure seamless integration, data governance, and efficient business processes across these critical areas. A strong focus on data management, governance, and compliance, as well as the ability to drive modernisation and innovation in Enterprise IT architecture, is essential.

- Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and standards for the solution architecture domain of Enterprise / Corporate IT.
- Review and approve the solution architecture proposals and designs within the responsibility of Enterprise IT teams.
- Ensure compliance with the security, data protection, governance, regulatory policies, and standards.
- Identify key existing systems, system dependencies and integration points in the overall solution and develop solution maps.
- Evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies and vendors.

Professional Experience
- Experience in corporate, middle and back-office application architectures and their integration into an Enterprise Landscape
- Deep experience with designing and driving technical, functional and data roadmaps for corporate business processes and functions
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing opportunities for IT process optimisation, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvements in system performance.
- Experience with multi-cloud and SaaS based Architectures, implementing cloud-based solutions and automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Expertise in designing and overseeing data management strategies, including integration of diverse systems and ensuring seamless data flow across multiple organisational functions.
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture frameworks to guide the strategic direction of IT architecture and governance.
- Experience in conducting proof-of-concepts (POCs), technical feasibility assessments for new technologies and documenting architectural designs.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to implement and optimise enterprise applications and IT strategies across a large organisation.
- Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and vendor COTS solutions is highly regarded.
