Our Senior Procurement Manager At Helvar

As our Senior Procurement Manager, you will be an essential part of our team, working closely with an international team, you can be based in one of our office locations in Espoo (Finland) or Dartford (UK). In this role, you will ensure that the organization can consistently deliver high-quality products to match customer expectations by ensuring sufficient availability and optimum stock levels through effective supply forecasting process.The role is also accountable for managing supplier contracts and ensuring that products and components are acquired in a cost-effective, timely, and efficient manner while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

What You'll Do As Our Senior Procurement Manager

• Evaluate supply forecasting and ensure correct stock levels together with the team
• Manage assembly, inspection and demand operations teams
• Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they understand and align with organization’s customer needs
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and prices while ensuring the ability to deliver high-quality products to customers
• Follow actively component price development
• Implement metrics and continuously monitor and assess supplier and team performance
• Continuously suggest improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and logistics processes 
• Source components and products according to company requirements
• Ownership ERP data related to products, vendors and purchases

• Customer mindset, understanding team’s role in customer experience
• Effective negotiation skills
• Line leader skills, ability to motivate the team to deliver timely service to customers
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to use and learn new IT tools, and propose best practices
• Ability to conduct and refine forecasts
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
• Hands on approach and willingness to jump into daily admin tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Collaborative mindset with experience in working with cross-functional teams
