Experienced Porter required to work at this high-end residential block. Must have a full clean UK driving licence and held the licence for at least 2 years because part of the role will involve occasional valet parking of residents vehicles as and when required. Hours of work will be Sundays 10pm to 7am, then Monday to Thursday 11pm to 7am with a fixed day off every Friday and Saturday. This is a front of house role so you must be very well presented with exceptional customer service skills and with an excellent clear command of English in order to effectively communicate well with residents and visitors. This is a high value property with resident VIP’s and therefore the right candidate must have a critical eye for detail as well as the ability to be discreet, confident and totally customer service orientated in interacting with strong personalities. Duties will include meeting and greeting residents and visitors, dealing with residents queries, assisting with luggage, opening doors, and ensuring that the security of the building is maintained to a high standard. The role will involve nightly walks of the communal areas to check on security plus also watch cameras and be totally vigilant and alert at all times through the night. Also, you would naturally expect to undertake light cleaning duties including litter picking and rubbish collection when necessary in order to ensure the forecourt and entrance lobby is kept immaculate. You must be personable, enthusiastic, vigilant and demonstrate initiative. Immediate Start!
