Our client, a leading provider of facilities services, is looking for a MAC Commercial Lead to join their team.

The MAC Commercial Lead will play a pivotal role within the Project Commercial Team, providing commercial oversight and management across the full lifecycle of all Move and Change projects.This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a prestigious blue-chip client as part of a collaborative and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage detailed project costs (BoQs) for capital projects (£100k–£3M).
• Negotiate daily with suppliers to maintain strong margins.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks across project lifecycles.
• Maximise commercial opportunities in the MAC environment.
• Deliver accurate reporting on revenue and cash targets to leadership.
• Supervise and support Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Align project milestones and financials with the Project Management team.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).
• Extensive post-qualification experience, ideally in building maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage construction contracts up to £10m.
• Strong pre-construction knowledge: procurement, planning, contracts.
• Skilled in estimating, tendering, and managing projects from concept to design approval.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD; Intellect experience is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of margin improvement and MRICS (or working towards).
