What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)

• Managing the commercial aspects of conservation and restoration projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Preparing detailed cost plans, variations, valuations, and subcontractor packages
• Working closely with project and site teams to manage budgets, track progress, and maintain financial control
• Leading procurement and overseeing payment applications and cashflow forecasts
• Assisting with tenders, contract negotiation, and client reporting
• Ensuring compliance with heritage project requirements and documentation standards

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within conservation, heritage, or specialist construction
• Comfortable managing multiple contracts with values up to £2m across London sites
• Strong understanding of listed building works, including masonry, roofing, timber, and specialist finishes
• Skilled in contract admin, valuations, variations, and cost control
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across site teams, clients, and heritage consultants
• Suitable for Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor-level candidates looking for meaningful work
