The coaching team is dedicated to strengthening product, agile and leadership practices across Bloomberg. We offer coaching, facilitate targeted workshops, and help foster a culture of evidence-based, outcome-driven product thinking. This role will work with leaders in the Product, Engineering and Data organizations across all businesses for Bloomberg. We’re hiring for a Head of Coaching role to help scale and deepen our coaching impact across the organization. You will work with multiple team leads leading cross-functional teams to drive impact, efficiency, and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle. As part of a growing coaching team, you’ll also help shape our own strategy, develop insights, and grow our team.

We’ll Trust You To
- Lead a coaching organization that coaches individuals and teams, focusing on helping Bloomberg adopt the product operating model, product competencies such as vision, outcome-driven roadmaps, decision-making strategies, experimentation, metrics, and stakeholder management to deliver exponentially impactful products
- Lead a coaching organization whose mission is to instill a Product Operating Model at Bloomberg. This coaching team will work with senior leaders and teams to improve product competencies such as strategic planning and outcome-driven execution.
- Further develop a training program for product managers that teaches experimentation and discovery practices, metric driven decision making and other leading product management practices
- Apply product thinking to micro and macro problems across the organization
- Assess product management maturity in place at all levels of leadership, educating and coaching to identify trends and opportunities for systematic improvement
- Lead your organization to develop insights, metrics of success, hypotheses, strategic documentation, resource allocation, and workshops
- Contribute to a growing vision and strategy for the coaching team that drives the mission and vision of the company at large
- 8+ years of experience as a product leader
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Ability to build trust with senior executives, product managers and cross-functional teams
- Product expertise across the product development lifecycle
- Superb communication skills including front of room leadership, executive stakeholder management, marketing and presentation skills, written and verbal pitches
- Hands on experience launching new products, evolving legacy products, transforming teams, and working with executive leadership
- Prioritization of momentum over perfection, with a deep understanding of effective processes and the ability to apply frameworks and methodologies to address specific problems (OKRs, Journey Mapping, etc.)
- Experience collaborating and problem solving with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, program management, data, sales, and design
- High capacity for collaboration and open communication
- A learning mindset
- A proven ability to navigate and influence within both high-growth and legacy environments
- Experience as a manager of managers
