About Fussy

Hey good smelling! We’re Fussy…about everything, in our mission to banish single-use plastic from your bathroom. Having experienced exceptional growth over the past four years, we are now looking for a talented individual to join the team as a Paid Media Executive.

You’ll report to our Performance Marketing Lead, working with the team to supercharge our growth across Meta and TikTok.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a scale-up through a significant period of growth

About The Role

Joining as our Paid Media Executive, you’ll take the reins on paid social campaigns from planning to testing, optimisation, and scaling. You’ll be hands-on with data, uncovering insights to improve performance, and play a key role in crafting campaigns that not only convert, but genuinely resonate with our community (and their pits).

Specifically, You’ll Be Responsible For

End-to-End Ads Management:

  • Plan, launch, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok.
  • Support paid advertising accounts from end to end: setup, monitoring, optimisation, and scaling.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to develop compelling, platform-appropriate creatives.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Influencer and organic social, and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute strategic input and insights during campaign planning.

Testing & Optimisation

  • Execute structured A/B tests on creative formats, messaging, and targeting strategies.
  • Identify underperforming areas and iterate quickly to improve performance.
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends, new ad formats, and platform updates.
  • Recommend when new assets are required and coordinate production with creative teams.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics across all paid campaigns.
  • Generate clear, actionable reports that highlight performance trends and strategic insights.
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals.
  • Use analytics tools to evaluate customer journeys and conversion paths.

About You

Great comes in lots of different forms, and we’re really open to seeing candidates from a range of brackgrounds. Given the nature of this role and what we’ll ask of you, we do believe that the following skills are needed to be able to deliver to a high standard:

  • Approx 2+ years in a paid media role, ideally with experience working with DTC, FMCG, or fast growing start-ups.
  • Experience managing significant budgets on Meta
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven creative optimisation.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Understanding of consumer psychology, advertising trends, and audience resonance.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and natural products.

Skills

And anyone who has these skills too would likely be a super fit for this role, but these are by no means essential:

  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools and comfort working with large datasets (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager) is a plus.
  • Experience successfully scaling TikTok ad accounts.
  • Experience with building dashboards and reports in Looker Studio.

What we offer

  • A chance to play a part in banishing single-use plastic from the bathroom
  • A salary of £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working with Tuesdays and Thursdays in our East London office
  • 33 days annual leave including flexible bank holidays + a day off for your birthday – we encourage you to take time off to switch off, rest and recharge
  • Our Wellhub membership with a range of fitness & wellbeing options - we care about our team’s wellness, from physical to mental health
  • Share options after probation - we grow, you grow

Who We Are

Fussy are on a mission to banish single-use plastic from the bathroom by designing simple, effective and convenient personal care products that are backed by science not buzzwords. Our first product, a refillable deodorant is now the UK’s top rated natural deodorant and has blessed the armpits of everyone from Holly Willoughby to some very known Dragons’. We have put in place the foundations of a world-class team of employees and advisors and this is a super exciting time to join as we are now looking to accelerate our growth into new products and territories. We as a brand have the responsibility, consumers have the power and it’s only together we can do this. Power to your pits!
