About The Role
This is an exciting and varied role that puts the individual in charge of managing some of the Councils key cultural ambitions and schemes. You will be joining the team at a very exciting time as we enter into the delivery year of our Cultural Impact Award. Leading a small team you will not only be responsible for the delivery of this programme but also the delivery of our wider Arts & Culture Programme.

About You
We are looking for someone to develop and lead the councils cultural, heritage, arts and events programme and the implementation, of our innovative and creative cultural, heritage, and arts projects, which support the priorities and outcomes of our Culture Strategy.
We are looking for someone who can operate in a matrix management environment, as this role has wide ranging responsibilities across the council including: working with Strategic Directors and service leads to enable their service strategies to align with culture, liaising closely with service areas to ensure consistent strategic synergy and reporting direct to relevant Boards and senior Council groups on strategic priorities such as the Borough of Fun, delivering the Culture Strategy and the Cultural Impact Award
You will have strong leadership skills, be flexible, highly motivated and enthusiastic, inspiring others around you, while aiming to bring about change for the better.
