The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Front Office department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.

Key responsibilities as a Receptionist:

• Manage day operations by checking arrivals and departures reservations, missing bookings, payments, and any rate discrepancies
• Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional check-in and check-out experience
• Take initiative in accommodating the customers' needs in a resourceful manner
• Be pro-active in the learning and development of administrative tasks, procedures, processes and standards and ensure correct practice
• Be the first point of contact for all our guests
• Deal with guest queries and complaints
• Upsell hotel services
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Answer the telephone and address any enquiries
  
  

As a Receptionist, the essential skills required:

• Opera Cloud/ Opera experience
• Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role
• Ability to multitask
• Well-presented, professional, and customer oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Calm under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Motivate and collaborate effectively with your colleagues in the hotel
• Friendly and approachable
