This role offers broad exposure across parts planning, inventory control and aftersales operations within a growing OEM-backed organisation.
My client is continuing to expand its UK aftersales and parts operation and is looking to appoint an OEM Dealer Support & Parts Planning Specialist to support the developing dealer network. This role sits at the centre of parts operations, balancing inventory planning, backorder management and day-to-day dealer support activity.
Salary: 40K - 50K - depending on experience and current salary, + benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse parts demand, sales trends, stock position and backorder data to support replenishment planning
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for spare parts, accessories and selected aftersales products
- Monitor stock coverage, identifying shortages, supply risks and slow-moving parts
- Support inventory performance reviews to balance availability and stock investment
- Manage daily backorder status and follow up overdue or high-impact supply issues
- Prioritise critical backorders based on vehicle-off-road cases and customer impact
- Provide clear updates on backorder position, recovery actions and expected supply timing
- Act as a key point of contact for dealer parts enquiries including availability, order status and system issues
- Liaise with internal teams across service, technical, warranty and finance to resolve dealer issues
- Maintain accurate parts data and support operational reporting and process improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in automotive / heavy machinery parts operations, inventory planning, supply chain or aftersales support
- Understanding of parts replenishment, stock control and fulfilment processes
- Experience managing backorders or coordinating supply issues
- Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with dealer networks
- Analytical approach with high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Experience using SAP or other ERP or inventory systems desirable
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving operational environment
