My client is expanding across global markets and they are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Account Manager to lead their continued growth throughout France.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a key international territory, build strategic distributor partnerships, and play a central role in driving the next phase of their success.

Already operating in over 40+ countries worldwide, they are a leader in their sector renowned for innovation, quality and exceptional customer experience.

As their Account Manager, you'll have the autonomy, support and resources to grow an established market while identifying new opportunities for growth.


The opportunity

This is far more than a traditional account management role. You will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for France, identifying and onboarding new distributors while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing partners.

You will be the face of business within the French market, building trusted relationships, driving revenue growth and ensuring distributors have everything they need to succeed.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving sales growth across France through new business development and distributor expansion.
  • Identifying, approaching and securing new distributor partnerships.
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing distributors to maximise performance and revenue.
  • Delivering monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Supporting distributors with business development initiatives and growth plans.
  • Conducting regular meetings with distributors and prospective partners.
  • Monitoring account performance and proactively implementing improvement plans where required.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the French market and customer expectations.
  • Collaborating closely with the wider sales team to share insights and best practices.
  • Representing the business at meetings, events and customer visits across France.

They are seeking a highly motivated sales/account management professional who combines commercial awareness with excellent relationship building skills.

You will need to be proactive, resilient and comfortable taking ownership of your own market territory. Most importantly, you'll have the drive to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and consistently deliver results.

Essential skills required

  • Fluent French speaker
  • Experience in either sales, account management or business development role.
  • Experience managing B2B customers, distributors or commercial accounts.
  • Strong understanding of French business culture and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout France (minimum twice per month).
  • Live within a commutable distance to their Central London showroom.
  • Ability to attend monthly sales meetings at our East Anglia HQ.
