Corporate Actions Business Analyst

London (4 days per week in office)

Investment Banking Client

6-Month Rolling Contract

Up to £600/day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Actions Business Analyst to join a leading Investment Bank on a long-term contract engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the onboarding and integration of third-party corporate actions platforms while driving process and technology improvements across the corporate actions landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the onboarding and integration of third-party corporate actions platforms and vendors.
  2. Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements across the corporate actions domain.
  3. Work closely with Business, Operations, Architecture, and Engineering teams to define target operating models, system workflows, and integration requirements.
  4. Document current-state and future-state processes across corporate actions operations and supporting technology platforms.
  5. Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive requirements through to successful delivery.
  6. Support system integration initiatives, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
Required Experience
  1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Investment Banking.
  2. Strong knowledge of Corporate Actions processes, lifecycle events, and operations.
  3. Extensive understanding of middleware, system interfaces, data flows, and integration processes .
  4. Hands-on experience working with corporate actions platforms such as GLOSS, Murex, Bloomberg , or similar vendor solutions.
  5. Experience supporting the implementation, onboarding, integration, or enhancement of third-party corporate actions systems.
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Business, Operations, Technology, and Vendor teams.
  7. Excellent requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation capabilities.
  8. Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
Desirable
  1. Experience delivering corporate actions transformation, automation, or platform migration programmes.
  2. Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and market data feeds.
  3. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project lifecycles.
