Investment Operations Manager everything non-investments - Multi-Family Office with Fund of Hedge strategy - CassonX - #2097394

CassonX are thrilled to be recruiting for a multi-family office that supports many affluent families from the UK, Europe, LATAM and Middle East. Their primary focus is Investment and Asset Management with emphasis on Fund of Hedge strategies, but also with supporting Structured Notes. This small company has an incredible reputation in the market, and looking to bring someone on board to be the #2 to the CIO and Founder, and offer a long term career to become their COO.

To be considered for this incredibly wide reaching non-investments role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who comes from a buyside background (hedge fund, asset manager, family office, private bank etc) with wide ranging experience across Operations. You will have dealt with trade lifecycles, NAV oversight, cash management / funding, valuations, and custodial reconciliations, but it is beneficial if you have seen portfolio rebalancing, regulatory/transaction reporting, performance attribution, data analytics, various types of reporting, and even trade execution across a variety of asset classes. What is essential is a great educational foundation boasting a degree in a mathematical, engineering, computer science or business type course, but excellent Excel/VBA skills and an ability to use Python / Programming and the concepts of AI.

This very broad role will see you do everything non-investments for the CIO and Founder, and could be referred to as a business manager or junior COO role. investment operations, data infrastructure and client delivery. You will be the operational backbone of the investment process, ensuring the firm runs with precision and scalability. For the right candidate, there is a genuine path towards portfolio management responsibilities or COO role (if suitable). The would like and experienced person to come in, identify problems, build solutions and own the process.
